Hear ye, hear ye, members of the Fernandina Pirates Club, Inc. to host a Pirate Pub Crawl and Party celebrating fair skies and calm seas after Hurricane Matthew disrupted the originally scheduled Pirate Festival.

This year’s bash has been re-named the “Port O’ Call GRATITUDE” and has been re-scheduled for November 11 and 12, 2016.

“Port o’ Call GRATITUDE” honors our community’s first responders, and those who have served in the military, both active and veterans.

Events begin at 6:30 p.m. on Friday with a Pub Crawl. For a $5.00 donation, you are encouraged to slip on an eyepatch, shine up your silver buckled slippers, and don your finest pirate attire and muster at Marlin & Barrel Distillery, 115 South Second Street, for a tour of the distillary and complimentary tasting. Following the tour will be a Pirate Pub Crawl until 9:00 p.m. with many participating venues offering drink specials throughout Fernandina’s historic downtown.

Stops include the Palace Saloon, Alley Cats, Amelia Tavern, Dog Star, Green Turtle, the Florida House’s Mermaid Bar and ends at LeChonera El Coqui with raffles and door prizes.

Saturday enjoy a minimum of a 10% discount at some of our fine downtown shops including Amelia Angler, Debonair, Lemon Grass, Sea Jade, Nana Teresa’s, Southern Touch, Ville Villekulla, The Book Loft, and more.

Sheffield’s at the Palace in historic Fernandina Beach will host the Pirates “Port O’Call GRATITUDE” bash. For only $15.00, $10.00 for military and first responders, join the pirates from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for victuals (food), music, raffles, door prizes, and drink specials as they call out, “Splice the Mainbrace”, an order given aboard naval vessels to issue the crew with a drink.

Once the bell tolls eight, the festivities continues until 1:00 a.m. with music, raffles, drink specials and a Pirate Costume Contest.
