Held in conjunction with the famed Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, the well-established event will present a dazzling array of approximately 80 blue-chip automobiles with an emphasis on important and historic sports and racing cars and elegant coachbuilt classics.
Among a long list of featured highlights are a majestic pair of 1930s Duesenbergs including an ultra-rare 1935 Duesenberg Model SJ Walker-La Grande Convertible Coupe, the only factory supercharged example, and a 1931 Duesenberg Model J Derham Tourster, formerly owned by Hollywood legend Joe E. Brown and infamous industrialist Howard Hughes. The sale will also feature a trio of Cords from the private collection of Jim Fasnacht, headlined by a magnificent 1930 Cord L-29 Sport Cabriolet by Voll & Ruhrbeck, the Berlin Show Car. Additional highlights include an award-winning 1939 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sport ‘Superleggera’ Berlinetta, an 1909 Austin Model 60 Touring, purchased new from the 1909 Chicago Auto Show, a highly desirable 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB offered for the first time in more than 35 years, and a 2000 Porsche 911 GT3 R co-driven by actor and accomplished driver Paul Newman in the 2000 Petit Le Mans sports car endurance race.
