Rotary Learns About Patient Community Advocate ProgramAmelia Island, FL – Rotarians in the Rotary Club of Amelia Island Sunrise were treated to a presentation by Jim Tippins, Senior Chaplin at Baptist Medical Center Nassau about the Patient Community Advocacy (PCA) Committee for the hospital. The committee is comprised of former patients, patients’ families, community volunteers, the BMCN Auxiliary, and hospital staff, all reporting to hospital president Stephen Lee, and the committee exists to create a culture of excellence based upon patient insight and they work to identify issues that impact a patient’s experience during a hospital visit or stay.
