After you visit the Farmer’s Market Saturday morning in historic Fernandina Beach, walk the children to the foot of Centre Street so they can visit with Santa Claus!
Fernandina Beach, FL – The fun activities start around 2:00 pm on November 24, 2012, with carolers, choirs, dancers and singers entertaining visitors all afternoon with the sights and sounds of the Christmas holiday season.
Seasonal vendors will be on hand to serve hot chocolate and other delights, plus the Fernandina Pirates will assist with toasting marshmallows.
Santa Claus will make his way down Centre Street to the Christmas Tree on one of our local fire engines at 2:00 pm and all are invited to welcome him to town! Santa will be available to meet and take pictures with the kids of the community until 5:00 pm for a charitable donation of $5.00 per photo. Photos with pets will also be available.
Hosted by the City of Fernandina Beach, the Official Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will begin at 6:15 p.m.
