Amelia Arts Academy will host auditions for El Coro De Niños, a Spanish/English choir for ages 7 to 12.
El Coro De Niños Auditions!
Saturday, January 15, at 10:00 a.m. Amelia Arts Academy will host auditions for El Coro De Niños at the Peck Center Auditorium (516 S. 10th St.) El Coro De Niños is a choir for children ages 7 – 12 that sings in both Spanish and English. Children will be taught vocal techniques, rhythm, music theory, performance skills, and more while singing fun music in both English and Spanish.
There are 15 spots available for this unique opportunity to learn for world-renowned musicians Marci and Ricardo Valdevieso about Latin and American cultures while singing and performing as a group. Five full scholarships for participation in this program will be awarded.
Students will need to arrive at 10:00 a.m. to perform warm-ups and exercises, and they will need to have a short song prepared to sing, and be able to sing back a simple children’s song.
