Sounds on Centre is back on track this year, after a bit of controversy, and is set to begin on April 5, 2019, from 6 to 8:00 p.m. the season’s opening band will be Str8Up. This cover band will have you dancing on Centre Street to the great classics of Motown and Disco, as well as today’s chart-topping artists. Their songs appeal to a wide range of ages which is perfect for this traditional street party held on the first Friday of the month in historic Fernandina Beach each year from April through October.
The concert is FREE and open to the public. There will be T-shirts, drawings for some amazing prizes, wonderful music, and even the Pirates will be dancing in the streets. Bring your lawn chair, your neighbors, and your dancing shoes!
