Stuff a Bag to Benefit House for Homeless WomenFernandina Beach, FL – Fifi’s Fine Resale of Amelia Island, Florida, is having a Stuff a Bag Sale to benefit Cedar Haven Transition House for Homeless Women on Saturday, August 3, 2013.

Specially marked items throughout the shop can be stuffed into a plastic shopping bag for $20. This charity event coincides with the Florida Sales Tax Free holiday weekend and prime back to school shopping.

Cedar Haven is a Transitional House for Homeless Women in the Fernandina Beach Community. It is a Non-Profit organization dedicated to serving women by offering transitional housing and education to improve the quality of life for homeless women without children. Cedar Haven is a project of Women of Power Inc. and LaVerne Mitchell Ministries Inc. Cedar Haven opened in March 2011 and provides a 180-day transitional program. In addition to providing housing, classes are offered that will assist residents in becoming self sufficient; improving the quality of their lives as they make a transition back into society.
