Amelia Island’s SunSplash Music Festival is August 6th and 7th on the beach at Seaside Park, located on the corner of Fletcher Avenue (A1A) and Sadler Road in Fernandina Beach.

This is a FREE festival for the entire family and the proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project!

Beginning on Saturday morning with an Eastern Surfing Association contest at 8:30 AM, the music starts at 11:00 with Hupp and Ray. There will be a sand castle building contest for the kids at 11:30, and the Fernandina Beach High School Colorguard will perform at 12:30.

The afternoon includes performances by musical acts The Resolvers, KLOB, and DJ Prez Cricket and Megatron. A fashion show will be presented by Pipeline Surf Shop and a short talk will be given about the Wounded Warrior Project.

At 6:00 PM join Keep Nassau Beautiful for a beach clean-up.

Sunday brings another day full of vendors and sun lovers with music by Jenn Burns and Friends, Charlie Crews and Spred the Dub. There is a watermelon eating contest at 1:30 and at 3:00 a FREE Stand up Paddling demonstration by Pipeline and Starboard SUP.
