SunSplash is a family friendly, free Reggae concert on Amelia Island that takes place directly on Fernandina's white sandy beaches.
Fun at SunSplash
There are two great bands scheduled for this Saturday, August 7th. Scholar’s Word is performing at 1:00 PM and Fourth Dimension at 4:00.
Come join the fun beginning at 9:00 AM with a beach cleanup. At 10, there is the ESA Surf Contest and beginning at 11:00 is the one hour Sandcastle Contest and the open, 4-on-4 beach volleyball that continues until 6:00 PM. And you don’t want to miss the fashion show that takes place between the bands at 3:00 pm.
There will be plenty of vendors and you can always slip into Sliders Seaside Grill for an adult beverage to cool you down!
Sponsors include Caribbean Breeze, Pipeline Surf Shop, SunGlass Daddy, Beach Rentals, Halftime Sports Bar and Grill, Relax and Ride, the City of Fernandina Beach, and many, many others.
