Fernandina Little Theatre’s 3rd Creative Kids Festival

Fernandina Little Theatre's 3rd Creative Kids FestivalFernandina Little Theatre has announced the 3rd Annual Creative Kids Festival is set for Saturday, January 17, 2015.

“The goal of the Creative Kids Festival is to inspire the imagination and the artist inside every child,” said Kate Hart, Artistic Director of Fernandina Little Theatre, which organizes the festival each year. “We are providing opportunities for children to participate fully in the creative process – as learners, creators, and as audience members,” Hart said. “So many creative people live and work in this area – we wanted to take advantage of all that talent to help kids explore their own creativity. We also wanted to explore new areas of creative potential. ”

The festival is a collaborative effort between a number of local organizations, artists, and educators, including FLT, Island Art Association, Bean School of Dance, Coastal Massage Therapy, and Miss Kate’s Pre K. This year’s workshop leaders include Daphne Moeller, Kate Hart, Kristin Conner, Linda Janca, Robyn Nemes, Shane Talbert, and Susan Childers.
