“Seven teams participated this year and we were thrilled to raise over $3,000.00 with about 100 ‘Crawlers’ and selling around 500 prize tickets.”
The wreaths will be auctioned off in a silent auction on November 26th, where the festivites will also include holiday desserts, hot cocoa and sparkling cider, and live entertainment from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
“Crawl for a Cure” begins at the Crab Trap and stops at Salty Pelican, Amelia Tavern, Alley Cat, Green Turtle Tavern, Dog Star Tavern, and the Palace Saloon.

There will be five bands performing at Relay For Life on March 21st, this Saturday at Main Beach, in Fernandina.
It’s breezy at the beach, so to keep the Luminary grounded at Relay we are using canned foods to weigh down the bags; donations will be given to Micah’s Place after the event.
Luminaria bags used during Relay For Life will be weighed down by cans of food from our Food Drive; after Relay the cans will be donated to Micah’s Place.
No matter why you take part in Relay, one thing is clear: with every step you take, you are helping the American Cancer Society save lives.
Among the fun at Relay For Life enjoy a free concert with five bands including Cumberland Sound, Laid Back Band, Hambone Stumps, Jennifer Burns, and Jimmy Beats.
