Taste and Toast 2014 is This SaturdayYou are running out of time to participate in the Nassau Humane Society’s Taste and Toast! The event will be on Saturday, May 17, from 7-9pm at the The Florida House Inn, located at 22 S. Third Street. They have graciously offered to host our event again this year in their beautiful courtyard underneath stately oaks and twinkling white lights.

Tickets are $50 and can be purchased on our website www.nassauhumanesociety.com, at our Second Chance Store, or at the NHS Dog Park.

Nassau Humane Society is partnering with over 15 restaurants in our community for this unique fundraiser that pairs food with a fine selection of wine or beer. More than a dozen restaurants will participate in the event, with chefs from each establishment preparing an item off their menu and pairing the dish with a wine or beer that best accentuates flavor.

Between taste-size bites of food and sips of wine or beer, guests can head into an adjoining courtyard for a visit with some furry friends from the shelter. Unique gift baskets will be raffled and a live auction will be hosted by our special guest, Nick Loren.
