Teen Read Week 2009 is next week, October 18th through the 24th. This year the theme is Read Beyond Reality at Your Library. This event is to encourage teens to read something out of this world.
Even though our local library registration for Teen Week is closed, you can still encourage your teens to read. Reading in our home is a very popular past time and two of our three kids are avid readers. Since we still have a teen at home who loves to read, this is a great excuse to take her to the library or a Fernandina Beach book store and let her select her own “out of this world” book.
