With the completion of week six in the Forever Fit Challenge at CLUB 14 FITNESS in Fernandina Beach, the contestants only have two more weeks to lose weight and body fat percentage until the contest is over.
While there is no multi-thousand dollar prize like that prime time weight loss television show, these champions are going to feel like a million bucks with their new, healthier bodies, just in time for spring!
They have learned much about health, exercise and nutrition, and one of the many things they have come to know during this life changing experience is to protect their muscles by adding protein to their bodies immediately after an intense workout.
When you work out you are tearing down muscles and then rebuilding them. It is important to remember that you need protein to repair and rebuild your muscles.
You also need to rehydrate after a workout; don’t forget to replace the fluids naturally lost during exercise.
