The 12th Annual Nassau County High School Art Exhibit opens with a reception and light refreshments on March 11, 2014
Jacksonville, FL – The 12th Annual Nassau County High School Art Exhibit opens with a reception and light refreshments on March 11, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. The exhibit is on display at the Lewis Red Bean Building of the FSCJ Betty P. Cook Nassau Center Tuesday, March 11 through Wednesday, March 19.
This is the third year that the show will be held at the Nassau Center after the nine previous shows were hosted by the North Campus.
Last year, more than 150 works were featured from 82 students representing Fernandina Beach High School, Yulee High School, Hilliard Middle-Senior High School, and West Nassau High School. Instructors Kim Archer, from Yulee High School; April Eason from West Nassau High School; Erica Dodge, from Fernandina Beach High School; and Vickie Whigam, from Hilliard High School will select the works to be entered into the show.
Mary Dumbleton, a librarian at the FSCJ North Campus, who has a Bachelor of Fine Arts and is an accomplished artist, will judge the work. Participating students will have the opportunity to receive the Judges Award for Respective Class Medium and Special Recognition.
