It is time for the $5.00 Holiday Jewelry Sale that benefits Baptist Medical Center Nassau's Auxiliary.
Mouth of Amelia has forwarded us the details to this exciting event:
WHEN: Friday, December 2, 2011. 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
WHERE: Board Room of the Baptist Medical Center Nassau Hospital.
WHAT: This is one of the Mouth’s favorite events! Our fabulous vendor arrives every year at this time with literally thousands of items for sale. Most of it is costume jewelry made with “gem quality glass” that won’t turn your fingers green. Promise! The Mouth owns “diamonds”, “amethysts”, “sapphires” and more that would knock your socks off. She’ll be looking for “rubies” this year, and nothing costs her more than $5.00 each. The vendor also usually brings other gift items as well, like a line of really nice leather wallets, children’s stocking stuffer items, and even nice “Pashminas” and cubic zirconias some years.
WHY: If you have teenagers on your list, this is the place to shop! They notoriously lose things, so why pay more than $5.00 for a gorgeous ring or CZ earrings? Your assignment between now and then is to find the ring sizes of all your relatives. You won’t be sorry you came to this sale! BESIDES, the proceeds of this sale benefit the Auxiliary which, in turn, benefits the hospital.
COST: Free admission but we hope you will support our auxiliary and buy lots of presents.
