The City of Fernandina Beach is sponsoring a Hazardous Waste and Recycle Event on Saturday, October 15, 2011, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the city’s maintenance/utility yard.
This event is FREE to city residents and only $5.00 for non-city residents. Commercial or business disposals will NOT be accepted.
Paper shredding will also be available and you are welcomed to bring glass bottles, number 1 and 2 plastics, propane tanks, steel and aluminum cans, up to four tires, paint, chemicals, batteries, medications, electronics, appliances and more.
