Bark for life has so many meanings. It means saving our pets who become abandoned. That’s what Nassau Humane Society aims to do. To the American Cancer Society Bark for Life is the call of our canine companions who support their owner’s fight for their lives. And then there are our pets with cancer. Many of the treatments for our pets come from results of phamaceutical research and development for treatment of human cancers.

So, it seems natural to combine Nassau Humae Society with the American Cancer Society to have a Bark for Life.

The walk is open to those with cancer, those who have pets, walkers who have pets with cancer, or anyone who would like to join in.

Register at the Nassau Humane Society Dog Park, the Second Chance Store or online at www.nassauhumanesociety.com.
