The non-competitive, 5th Annual Back to School Beach Run 5k and 1 mile Family Fun Run or Walk is this Saturday on Amelia Island.
Back to School Beach Run
The run begins at 1:30 p.m. BUT you MUST arrive before 1:00 p.m. to be counted for your school!
Join hundreds of kids and adults from across Nassau County in this 5K (3.1 mile) or 2K (1 mile) non-competitive run/walk that benefits local youth.
The public or private Nassau County K-12 school with the largest number of participants (adults and children!) gets $1,000 to promote healthy student lifestyles, including physical and emotional well-being.
Registration from 12:00 – 1:00. Remember, you must arrive by 1:00 to be counted for your school!
There will be food, music, fun, and prizes!
Register fees to Run are $20 per adult, free for youth under 18.
For some kids, life is no day at the beach.
Spend a day at the beach to help Communities In Schools surround struggling youth with the tools they need to succeed.
