Island Council

Grow your business by making and strengthening your connections with Amelia Island-based businesses at the Island Council, which meets at 8:30 a.m. the first Wednesday of the month.

HR Council

Are you responsible for interviewing prospective employees, hiring and firing, payroll, benefits, family leave, workers comp and more? Then, the Amelia Island-Fernandina Beach-Yulee Chamber of Commerce has got a business council for you!
The new HR Council is designed to keep our Chamber members who handle human resources abreast of best practices, the latest requirements and newest trends in this ever-changing field. The first HR Council meeting on Monday, July 8, will be an organizational meeting, giving you the opportunity to help set the direction for the HR Council.

Quarterly Luncheon

Join us for the AIFBY Chamber Quarterly Luncheon with A. Hugh Greene, president and chief executive officer of Baptist Health, speaking on the new federal healthcare law and its impacts.
The luncheon is sponsored by e-Zassi, Fernandina Chiropractic Center, the Nassau Humane Society and VITAS Innovative Hospice Care.
Baptist Health is a comprehensive community-based health system is comprised of five hospitals, including Baptist Medical Center Nassau. Greene holds a master’s degree in health administration from the Medical College of Virginia and a master’s degree of divinity from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Wake Forest University where he was Phi Beta Kappa.
Luncheon menu includes BLT turkey wrap, chicken and tuna salads, homemade seasoned chips and baker’s choice dessert.
