Monty Kitchen from Suntex Boat Club & Watersports will discuss boating safety at the April meeting of the Yulee Area Council hosted by Whataburger, located in The Shoppes at Amelia Concourse in Yulee.

Connect with local business owners and professionals, generate referrals and discuss issues of interest to the Yulee business community at the AIFBY Chamber’s Yulee Area Council.

This is an exclusive discount of 80% off her studio portrait rate! Ribbon Cutting
5 p.m. Thursday, April 24

Amelia Island-Fernandina Beach-Yulee Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and Directors will welcome Amelia Island Health & Wellness to the community with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The ribbon cutting at 5 p.m. will be followed by an open house with healthy refreshments. Come join us in wishing Dr. Mark Brown and Jane Brown success.

Health Care Council
8:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 29
Amelia Island Health & Wellness, 5422 First Coast Highway, Fernandina Beach

Join us at the Health Care Council, hosted in April by Amelia Island Health & Wellness. Speakers will be Dr. Mark Brown who will talk about the Activator Methods technique of chiropractic, and Jane M. Brown, M.S. Nutrition, who will address nutrition and weight loss.

Dr. Brown has been in private practice since 1986. After moving to Amelia Island in 2012, he practiced as part of a local group until this past January when he and his wife Jane Brown, a nutrition professional, established Amelia Island Health & Wellness to offer chiropractic, nutrition and weight loss care. Dr. Brown specializes in the gentle and highly effective Activator Methods technique. Jane Brown focuses on nutrition counseling and coaching, especially to help prevent/reverse hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes and overweight/obesity.

Government Affairs Committee

The AIFBY Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee works to increase awareness of regulatory and legislative issues affecting the local business community.

The committee meets at 8:30 a.m. the last Wednesday of the month at the Chamber to discuss issues and to recommend formal policy stances for adoption by the Chamber’s Board of Directors. The AIFBY Chamber is located in the Gateway to Amelia complex at A1A/Eighth Street and the Amelia Island Parkway. You’ll find our office behind the flag poles.
