There will be a lecture and demonstration, presented by The Amelia Plantation Artists’ Guild and Gallery featuring Sandra Baker-Hinton. This local artist, gallery owner and turtle lover will demonstrate her methods when creating her one-of-a-kind pieces. Each morning during turtle nesting season, Sandra patrols the beach checking on turtle nest sites. With her camera in hand, she observes nature, be it sand patterns, shore birds or newly hatched baby turtles returning to the sea, they all inspire her paintings. Come hear her talk about these influences while she demonstrates her original techniques.
