Audition for Amelia Community Theatre's Christmas Carol or GreaseAuditions are coming up for two plays coming to the Amelia Community Theatre. You don’t need previous experience. If you have some, even if it’s long ago, there’s no time like the present to get back on stage!

Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Christmas Carol
This is a meeting of two Victorian classics by John Longenbaugh
Auditions: Saturday, October 4, 1:00 p.m., Main Stage
Main-Stage Performances: December 4-20
Cast: 16 men, 6 women, 2 boys, 1 girl
Directed by Bob Weintraub

Grease
Tony-award winning musical by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey
Auditions: Sunday, October 12, 3:00 p.m., Main Stage
Main-Stage Performances: February 12-28
Cast: Nine men, eight women
Directed by Lee Hamby

You must be 18 or older to audition and everyone in cast sings, dances and acts.

Auditioners should prepare 32 bars of a song in the Musical Theatre or 1950’s Style. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music in the appropriate key. No a cappella or karaoke track auditions allowed.

Also please be prepared to learn a short dance combination.
