The Ben Byrns 5K Runway Rally is September 15th at the Fernandina Beach Airport benefiting 2 local organizations.
The Ben Byrns 5K Runway Rally is September 15th at the Fernandina Beach Airport benefiting both the Nassau Humane Society and the Boys and Girls Club of Nassau County.
This unique running/walking event is being held in memory of Ben Byrns. Participants will complete a 5K run or walk on airport taxiways and runways.
Prizes will be awarded.
The top male and female finisher will be awarded a certificate for a sightseeing flight around Amelia Island!
Registration begins at 6:30 AM, at the airport on Saturday.
The Nassau Humane Society is currently raising funds to build a new facility.
The new Fernandina Beach building for the Boys and Girls Club bgcnassau.org/of Nassau County is on schedule for a September completion date.
