Cara Curtin to speak at Writers by the Sea

Please join Writers by the Sea at the Amelia Island History Museum, 233 South Third Street, Fernandina Beach, FL.

Cara Curtin to speak at Writers by the SeaWriters by the Sea is excited to present local personality and author Cara Curtin, speaking this month on how multiple authors can collaborate on one book. On Thursday, May 21, at 6:30 p.m.

Please join our lively group at the Amelia Island History Museum, 233 South Third Street, Fernandina Beach, FL. That is the group’s new home and where Cara will discuss the Wilson Mystery Series. Set in Fernandina Beach, Murder in Fernandina was the first novel in the series. Penned by Cara and nine other writers, it was soon followed by two more books, The Leopard of Fernandina and Fernandina’s Lost Island. After that, she and Dave Tuttle joined their literary forces in Fernandina’s Finest Easter, under Cara’s by-line. When Mr. Tuttle became too ill to complete The Pelican of Fernandina, Cara completed it for him. One last time, her name joined his in a by-line.

Ms. Curtin has led a rich life as a former advertising copywriter and a retired naval officer. She owned The Sailor’s Wife Book Exchange for many years and has written for radio, television, and a wide variety of print publications. Cara Curtain’s writing career spans over 30 years and she has much to share so we invite all writers to attend at no cost.

On May 21st at 6:00 come join us for a few minutes of social time, prior to an introduction to our group and Cara’s talk at 6:30 PM.
