Children’s Discovery Ship Exhibit Opens at Museum

Explore the captain's quarters, and look through the ship's portholes to see Fernandina's harbor at the turn of the century.

Children's Discovery Ship Exhibit Opens at MuseumA children’s exhibit, Dicovery Ship, is opening Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Amelia Island Museum of History.

This ship is part of a new interactive exhibit geared towards children. The ship will facilitate discovery-based learning, and will allow kids to pilot the ship, hoist flags, tie knots, along with several other fun and educational activities.

Explore the captain’s quarters, and look through the ship’s portholes to see what Fernandina’s harbor looked like at the turn of the century.

Come set sail with the Museum on their very first Voyage!
