It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers’ market! We’ll be having a holly, jolly time with familiar tunes played by the talented Gabriel Arnold and the children will delight in knowing Summer Santa and Mrs. Claus are coming to town! Our featured non-profit will be Joy to the Children, a group that provides Nassau County’s economically disadvantaged children and their families with dinner and gifts at a party held on Christmas Day.
Be sure to swing by the on-site management booth to pick up your ballots as nearly 40 vendors will be embellishing their booths with fabulous ornaments and trimmings in hopes you’ll vote for them at our Best Decorated Booth Contest!
‘Twas the middle of summer and all thru the market you’ll find natural soaps, fresh baked breads, soy candles, homemade pasta, Vietnamese egg rolls, spicy jams and jellies, delicious honey, the freshest seasonal produce, cut flowers, grass fed beef and pork, garlic sauces, olive tapinades, seasonings, rubs and dip mixes, cookies, scones, pickles, beets, farmstead cheeses, beautiful succulents, cup cakes, jerky and so much more than would fit under the average evergreen.
Before hitting the beach July 13th, grab the family and man’s best friend and head to N. 7th Street in historic, downtown Fernandina Beach for a taste of Christmas in July and take a free picture with Santa Claus!
Florida’s friendliest farmers’ market is open each and every Saturday, rain or shine, from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM on N. 7th Street on Amelia Island. Well behaved pets are welcome, too.
