Nassau County, FL – A $5,000.00 check for the Council on Aging’s Meals on Wheels program was presented to COA Executive Director Ken Willette by the members of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, organizers of the Amelia Island Shrimp Festival booth who obtained a matching grant of $900.00 from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans (which is included in this $5,000.00 gift).

Over forty volunteers worked the booth during the Amelia Island Shrimp Festival 2011 to make this donation possible.
