A long-time member of Nassau County, Leah Ledesma is the manager of the Yulee branch of Community First Credit Union of Florida.
Amleia Island, FL – On August 10, 2012 the Rotary Club of Amelia Island Sunrise welcomed its first new member of the Rotary fiscal year, Leah Ledesma. She was sponsored by club member Mark Dennis and officially welcomed and presented to the membership by club president, Christal Fish.
A long-time member of Nassau County, Leah is the manager of the Yulee branch of Community First Credit Union of Florida, headquartered in Jacksonville. Prior to her position with Community First Credit Union, she worked at the former Eight Flags Credit Union in Fernandina Beach, becoming part of the Community First team when the two credit unions merged in 2005.
In addition to her new Rotary Club membership, Leah also serves on the board of directors at the Amelia Island-Fernandina Beach-Yulee Chamber of Commerce, and is a participant in this year’s Leadership Nassau program with The Chamber. A mother of two children and an avid running enthusiast, Leah enjoys opportunities to actively participate in community projects, local business events, and her church.
