Relay For Life of Fernandina Beach/Yulee is hosting an amazing fund raiser for the American Cancer Society. The 6th Annual Crawl for a Cure will be held in downtown Fernandina Beach on Saturday, November 21, 2020, beginning at 6:00 p.m., at the Crab Trap, 31 North Second Street. This popular event lets you join in the fight against cancer while having a wildly good time. Concerned about wearing masks and social distancing? Don’t worry, this year’s theme is “Masquarade”.
It is overwhelming to think that millions of people are diagnosed with cancer each year. Cancer’s reach is so wide it effects each and every one of us is some way. Crawl for a Cure inspires hope by raising funds and awareness to help those fighting the disease. This is your opportunity to honor the cancer survivors in your life, remember friends and family we have lost, and help raise funds for the American Cancer Society’s lifesaving mission. All proceeds from this event go to Relay For Life of Fernandina Beach/Yulee and the American Cancer Society.
Your ticket is only $30.00 in advance on eventbrite.com, masquerade-crawl-for-a-cure-tickets, or $35.00 the day of the event and is hosted by five of Fernandina Beach’s finest local drinking and dining establishments. Crawlers can pick up their ticket books between 6:00 and 7:30 p.m. at The Crab Trap. Each book contains one drink ticket per stop and can be redeemed at each location for one beverage and a playing card. In no particular order, this walking tour includes The Salty Pelican, Green Turtle Tavern, Peppers Mexican Restaurant, and ends at the famous Palace Saloon where crawlers turn in their best five card Poker hand for a chance to win! Tickets are available at any of the participating venues and there will be prize drawings, too.
