CW Vision, founded by Dr. Jim Chamberlain, provides free eye care to Nassau County residents who cannot afford eye care

CW Vision Helping Nassau County Residents CW Vision provided members of the Amelia Island Sunrise Rotary Club their vision for helping Nassau County residents in need.

In 2009, CW Vision was founded by Dr. Jim Chamberlain in Nassau County to provide free eye care to Nassau County residents who cannot afford eye care. Dr. Chamberlain gave an overview of the non-profit organization to the Rotary Club of Amelia Island Sunrise where the club members learned about the operations of the organization and all the services it provides.

Since its inception the organization has served over 600 cases. Eye exams are done by appointment only on Thursdays. Qualified individuals can receive vouchers for free eye exams and free eyeglasses at the clinic on Thursdays at 2920 Bailey Road in Fernandina.

Vouchers for the free care can be obtained through several Nassau organizations such as Barnabas, Starting Point, Hope House, Micah’s Place, Nassau County Health Department, Nassau County School nurses, and Christwalk Church.

Qualification packets are also available at the clinic. For more information about the clinic and its services, call 904-572-4420 or email cwvisioninc@gmail.com.
