Date Night and a Kids Theatre WorkshopLooking to get away, but don’t know what to do with the kids? How about a date night our where you can send the kids to a theatre workshop while you enjoy a show?

Sounds awesome, right? Well, here is an opportunity for adults to enjoy a wonderful comedy while their children have their own theatrical experience.

For the Saturday, April 20 performance of Lend Me A Tenor, the ACT Teen Troupe, of the Amelia Community Theatre, will have a theatre workshop event for children in grades Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Children will play theatre games, watch a G-rated movie, and have snacks while parents or guardians attend the show in the main stage theatre next door.

The workshop is from 6 – 11 PM in the Studio 209 theatre, allowing time for the adults to go to dinner before the show, and then pick up the children when the play ends…

Or, children may be dropped off closer to the 8 PM curtain, if that is preferred.

Advance registration/payment is required.

Cost: $10.00 per child (play tickets sold separately for adults)

Register by calling the box office at 261-6749 or purchasing online at the ACT Store at www.ameliacommunitytheatre.org.

At least one adult ticket must be booked for the April 20 performance in order to register for the Kids Theatre Workshop.

For more information, please call 261-6749 or email actheatre@att.net.
