Fernandina Beach, FL – The Grand Opening of David’s Restaurant will be on November 2, 2012 bringing classic fine dining to Amelia Island. Co-owners Myrta Defendini & Deborah Gold, owners of the Hoyt House, have begun a new adventure and created a unique dining experience just steps away from the Hoyt House.
The bar has been set to a high standard of excellence with exemplary service staff, high quality food with a gourmet presentation and a keen sense of attention to detail.
Executive Chef Robert Camp formally of PLaE has taken his almost 20 years of experience and created a spectacular Steakhouse and Seafood Menu. A Prix Fixe Menu is offered 7 days a week from 5:00 to 6:30 featuring a three course dinner for $35.00 per person.
The comfortable roomy lounge opens at 4:00 pm offering a Bar Menu and special Martinis. Dinner, dedicated to prime steaks & unique seafood featuring items such as Filet Oscar, New York Strip Steak, double bone-in Rib Eye all grilled to your liking and dressed with a variety of greens and starches, will be served from 5:00 to 10:00 pm.
The Seafood side of the menu offers Dover Sole, Chilean Sea Bass, Maine Lobster and other delicacies from around the world as well as local Shrimp and items from local organic growers.
The wine room can accommodate up to 14 guests for private dining, wine tastings and a signature Chef’s Table. The Banquet room can hold up to sixty guests for private events, business meetings and luncheons.
