We invite you to visit with our industry partners who specialize in Family and Multi-generational travel on September 18th, between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM at The Miller Center Boys & Girls Club.
By: Wallace Pierson Travel – Have you ever wondered if you have made the best use of your children’s or grandchildren’s time over vacation breaks? While a week at the beach can be a great way to spend time together as a family, we invite you to explore some of the other available options.
Why not make memories together exploring a new land, or opening up the children’s eyes to a new culture? Or involve the children in the selection of the destination and visit an area that is interesting to them and aligns with and reinforces the lessons they have learned during the past school year.
We invite you to visit with our industry partners who specialize in Family and Multi-generational travel on September 18th, between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM at The Miller Center Boys & Girls Club.
In attendance will be:
-
-AmaWaterways – they have bikes onboard, kid friendly way to travel in Europe, unpack once, food and tours included, dock right where you want to be. Makes it easy!
-A&K (Abercrombie and Kent)- They go anywhere you might want to go and they have taken kids there.
-Tauck – Think Tauck Bridges! This is a very special family/multigen group of tours built specifically for families traveling with kids. Eric, Angela and the girls just returned from a Tauck Bridges tour of the National Parks this summer and had an amazing experience.
-Backroads – you will love this company for the biking, hiking, and multi sports itineraries all around the world! They have special family departures or you can make your own! Wine and culinary for the adults is important too!
-Lindblad Expeditions– one of the earliest companies to take travelers on true expeditions. Their naturalists are phenomenal, and, during family travel times, they cater to the kids big time. We took Ella and Emmie and two other multi-gen families to the Galapagos with Lindblad – 36 kids out of a possible 96 beds! They had a blast and learned so much!
-Big Five Tours & Expeditions, Inc. – Ashish Sanghrajka, the president, is coming to meet you! He is probably the biggest kid of all and his travel planners know how to make kids happy travelers!
-White Oak Conservation – Right here in our own back yard! We can now book you there for 1 to 4 nights and wait til you see the information on their summer camps! (Oh! and PSST- they are bringing a door prize!)
-Kayak Amelia – Another local gem for families! They have a summer camp, too, and be sure to ask about their Key West trip. They are supplying a door prize also. Oh, and you will have first dibs on signing up for a Wallace Pierson Travel sponsored family paddle! We will provide the lunch and bring our family along too!
There will be a $20 entry per family/or $10 per adult entry fee, all proceeds to benefit the club.
