6.2APPROVAL OF EQUIPMENT PURCHASE – RESOLUTION 2009-166 APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 2009 CATERPILLAR 287C SKID STEER LOADER FOR $69,558 FOR THE STREETS MAINTENANCE DIVISION; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DOCUMENTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Synopsis: Approves the purchase of one (1) 2009 Caterpillar 287C Skid Steer Loader in the amount of $69,558.
6.3AUTHORIZING INSURANCE SETTLEMENT CLAIM ‚Äì RESOLUTION 2009-167 AUTHORIZING THE SETTLEMENT OF AN INSURANCE CLAIM IN THE AMOUNT OF $45,000.00; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DOCUMENTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Synopsis: Authorizes settlement in the amount of $45,000.00 in Case No. 08-CA-823, Patricia Bowen v. City of Fernandina Beach.
6.4USE OF DISTRICT 501 IMPACT FEES – RESOLUTION 2009-168 REQUESTING NASSAU COUNTY TO FUND ROADWAY CAPACITY IMPROVEMENTS ON 14TH STREET USING DISTRICT 501 TRANSPORATION IMPACT FEE TRUST FUNDS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Synopsis: Requests Nassau County BOCC to use funds from the District 501 Transportation Impact Fee Trust Fund for improvements to 14th Street south of Atlantic Avenue.
