Fernandina Observer has posted a new article that features Part I of a new series by Suann Thamm. In this first edition Thamm ponders the possibility of city commissioners, officers, employees and management and working together as a team and refers to this as “trying something new”. She encourages our community to avoid using labels and compares our local level politics to athletes in a sports arena. She suggests we try not to damage our city’s reputation by creating sore losers out of our current players.
The newest posting on FO also includes a piece by Susan Steger about the 2012 Cabot Cheese Community Tour visiting Fernandina Beach, Florida on May 20, 2012. This is a 53 day cycling event covering 2300 miles using the East Coast Greenway.
