Lake City, FL – First Federal Bank of Florida announces a promotion to give new Free Checking customers a debit card bonus of $6 per month for 6 months when they use their debit card five times a month. First Federal’s goal is to reward new customers who are loyal debit card users with a bonus, instead of charging them a monthly fee like many national competitors have recently announced.

“While other national banks are imposing fees on their customers, First Federal is showing that we’re here to help,” says First Federal President and CEO, Keith Leibfried. “Not only do we still offer a Free Checking account, but we are offering a bonus when customers use their debit cards for purchases.”
