Forget Me Not Fudge

This recipe is delectably delicious and easy to make for Valentine’s Day sweetheart before you go out for a night on the town on Amelia Island. You can spike the fudge as the recipe mentions, or not, your choice.

4 1/2 cup granulated sugar
1- 13 oz can evaporated milk
18 oz semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 lb butter
1 Tbsp Maker’s Mark bourbon
2 cup chopped pecans

Combine sugar and milk in saucepan.
Bring to boil.
While stirring continuously, continue to boil over medium heat for exactly 6 minutes.
Remove from heat and add the remaining ingredients.
Mix well.
Spread evenly in a greased 9×13-inch dish.
Let sit in a cool place for 6 hours.
