Free Admission to Amelia Museum of History

free-day-at-the-museum Saturday, July 11, 2009 is a day of free admission to the Amelia Island Museum of History for all Nassau County Residents. From 10 to 4, and with proper ID per person, you will be admitted into our local museum for FREE. Your can even take in the 8 Flags History Tour at either 11:00 AM or at 2:00 PM. At 1:00 PM, there is a special tour of The British Crown Jewels by Nicolaus Findeisen. So come on out this Saturday and enjoy our community’s culture and history with the Amelia Island Museum and their Community Appreciation Day.

    I guess it is only to show proof of Nassau county residence. But I agree that it is still questionable to make such a distinction since many “non-residents” own homes in Nassau County. Not a smart thought out wording…
