Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) continues its celebration of 2016 graduates with the 2016 Adult Education Graduation Ceremony, conferring diplomas for those students completing the adult high school and high school equivalency programs.

The graduation keynote speaker is Marcellus Holmes III, former New England Patriots and Arena Football League player. The Jacksonville native attended Paxon School for Advanced Studies, Riverside Community College and Savannah State University. Over the past 17 years, Mr. Holmes has worked with at-risk youth, children in the foster care system and students with special needs. In addition to being a mentor to young adults through case management, Mr. Holmes also taught high school for 13 years in Duval County and has been a local football, track and wrestling coach.

The Adult Education Graduation Ceremony is a milestone in the lives of these graduates that only happens once and will leave a lasting impression for years to come.
