Historic Fernandina Beach Florida

historic-fernandina-beachThere is a Historic District Council Meeting scheduled for Thursday, June 18 at 5:00 PM. The meeting will be held in Fernandina Beach, Florida in the City Commission Chambers located at 204 Ash Street.

There is always good conversation when you talk with anyone who lives in the Historic District because of the many restrictions placed in this landmark neighborhood. If you want to tear down a shed, or build a new home, make exterior repairs or even install brick pavers, you have to have these modifications approved.

It is important that homeowners accept this responsibility, and I’m sure, often times this feels like a burden, to preserve the quaint atmosphere of our Victorian seaside village… and for that commitment when you chose to live in this spectacular part of town; we thank you!
