This is my kind of car show - one with truly awful automobiles. Can't you already picture them in your mind?
The following caught my attention and sounds like, perhaps, one of the best Amelia Island car events during the 2019 Car Week:
Not content to ruin most of the major US Concours, Concours d’Lemons will now ruin them ALL. The inaugural Concours d’Lemons Amelia Island will take place on March 9, 2019 at 3955 Amelia Island Pkwy, Fernandina Beach, FL 32034. The day before and just around the corner from the world renown Amelia Island Concours. oddball, mundane and truly awful of the automotive world will be celebrated. Hoopties of every description will be on display as their owners bribe the capricious judges in hopes of winning dollar store sourced trophies. As always, Concours d’Lemons is FREE to participate and spectate. That way you get what you pay for.
