Six entertaining local storytellers will compete for the Story Slam Championship on Friday, September 19, 2014 to raise funds to help furnish the growing Fernandina Beach Library.
The event takes place at Burns Hall, St. Peter’s Church, 801 Atlantic Avenue, Fernandina Beach. Warmup reception begins at 5:30 p.m., and the show starts at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for reception and show are $50 per person and are available at fernandinaFOL.org, the Fernandina Beach Library and Amelia Island Museum of History.
A limited number of free tickets for the program only are available at the Library. Co-sponsors with Friends of the Library are the Amelia Island Museum of History and the Florida Humanities Council.
