It is time for Bark for Life 2012That’s right! We don’t have just one, but we have two walk-a-thons this Saturday morning in Fernandina Beach!

Join Nassau Humane Society and the American Cancer Society Relay For Life for Bark for Life on Saturday, September 8th, 2012 at Central Park Atlantic Avenue. Late Registration begins at 9AM, Opening Ceremony starts at 10AM. The one mile walk to downtown Fernandina Beach and back begins at 10:15AM. Pre-registration fee is $20 per dog.

Late registration fee is $25 per dog. Each dog receives a goodie bag and Bark for Life bandana! Owner receives a t-shirt! Register now at Nassau Humane Society Dog Park, Second Chance Resale Store, or online at Contact Sandy Balzer 904-491-6146 or Becky Joyce 904-614-6683 with questions.

Bark for Life is a noncompetitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life and the homeless animals at Nassau Humane Society. By supporting Bark for Life, you help save lives, both human and animal, and that helps us move closer to our ultimate goal of a world with less cancer and more birthdays to share with man’s best friend. So bring your four legged loved one and join us for a great day starting with a walk, and then continuing with food and fun. Let’s help everyone have more birthdays!
