The EABC changed its annual Holiday Lights Trolley Trip to sponsor a free concert by Jacksonville's Heritage Singers
The Heritage Singers of Jacksonville mark their first appearance in Fernandina Beach with a concert at First Presbyterian Church, 9 N. 6th Street, on Tuesday, December 11th at 7:00p.m. The community is invited to this wonderful presentation of : The Friendly Beasts: Tails of the Holidays
You can expect the usual cast of cattle and camels to show up and a few other “tails” you didn’t know about.
The Event is Sponsored by European American Business Club.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy this free concert. Donations to the Heritage Singers, a nonprofit organization, are accepted. More information is available on their website www.heritagesingersjacksonville.com .
The selection of repertoire is fresh and reflective of the members’ common and individual heritages. The choir was founded in Jacksonville in early 2010 but you might not always recognize their music. And that’s by design.
Their repertoire is divided between a cappella and piano-accompanied pieces, both secular and sacred, Dell said.
The Heritage Singers’ 35 members come from Mandarin, Southside, Arlington, the Beaches, Avondale, Riverside and Arlington and come from all walks of life: business owners, interior designers, teachers and music
