Joe Diffie and special guest Crossin' Dixon are coming to Cotton-Eyed Joe's on Saturday, January 22, 2011.Diffie released his debut single Home in 1991 and had a string of other hits in the 90’s including If the Devil Danced (In Empty Pockets), Third Rock from the Sun, Pickup Man (his longest-lasting number one, at four weeks) and Bigger Than the Beatles.
In addition to these cuts, he has twelve other Top Ten singles.
Crossin’ Dixon first played a show together in 2002 and have since shared the stage with many country music greats including Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean and Merle Haggard. They have also opened for Bad Company.
Crossin’ Dixon will be playing at Whisky River in Jacksonville on Thursday, January 20th, and then opening at Cotton Eyed Joe’s at noon on Saturday, January 22, 2011.
Cotton-Eyed Joe’s is located on the Intercoastal Waterway in Yulee, Florida, just over the bridge from Amelia Island. They proudly boast that they have the distinction of being Northeast Florida’s only pure country and western honkytonk.
