Who is this John Davis Jr. and why is he running for President? I would not know had I not seen his campaign bus driving up Sadler Road in Fernandina Beach on my way to the gym Sunday afternoon.
On my trip back home I saw the bus again. This time it was parked at Seaside Park on the corner of Fletcher Avenue and Sadler Road.
I went online to learn about a man who intends to move into the White House, yes our White House, after the 2012 Presidential Elections.
John Davis is from Grand Junction, Colorado. He is a husband, father of six and grandfather of four and says on his website, “I have been almost entirely self-employed since I graduated from high school and although I have no college degree, I’ve been through the school of hard-knocks several times over.”
“I love God and I love America. I am dedicated to my family, to God, to my community, and to my country.”
His core values are listed as:

If his greatest strengths are common sense and problem solving, many will find this candidate an appealing choice.
His website continues, “United States president needs to have a lot of common sense, to be a problem solver, an attitude to ‘get-er-done’. We need someone who is not a career politician, someone who doesn’t want to be president but wants to serve his country: get in, get out.”
