Tonight: Lows will be in the lower 70s overnight with a 20% chance of rain, especially after 3:00 AM. Expect mild winds.
Tomorrow: Showers are expected in Fernandina Beach early with an 40% chance of afternoon thunderstorms expected on Friday. Highs will be in the mid 80s with partly sunny skies. Lows will be in the mid 70s.
Saturday: The weekend begins with highs in the mid 80s and a 40% chance of rain. Lows will be in the mid 70s.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy skies are expected with highs in the mid 80s, a 40% chance of rain and lows on Amelia Island in the mid 70s overnight.
Oh, and I just wanted to mention there is a 20% chance the large area of clouds and rain extending from Western Cuba to Southern Florida will become a tropical cyclone during the nex 48 hours. The system is expected to move slowly to the NW and into the Eastern Gulf of Mexico.
