This week the farmers market includes the inaugural appearance by Spanish Guitarist Dennis Fermin, and the Fernandina Beach Arts Market, too.
June 11, 2016, is the second Saturday of the month and that means the return of the Fernandina Beach Arts Market. Dozens of vendors and exhibitors, who hand-craft their unique products, will be located adjacent to the Fernandina Beach Market Place farmers’ market located on North Seventh Street (between Centre and Alachua Streets) in historic, downtown Fernandina Beach.
We have a new vendor joining us this week. Life Scents Candle Company. This is a family owned company who makes all natural soy candles that are infused with essential oils. All of their candles are handmade and hand-poured, and they are certain you will quickly find a favorite eco-friendly fragrance.
Returning to the Arts Market this week are a wide variety of artisans who specialize in pottery, jewelry, fabrics, paintings, stained glass, tie dye, sewing and other amazing displays of talent. The Market Place farmers’ market will see soap vendors, Amish Popcorn, locally grown rice, hot sauces, orchids, catering specialties, as well as the traditional seasonal produce, fresh baked breads, honey, jams and jellies booths and more.
Both markets are open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, rain or shine, and you are invited to bring the entire family out to try a Pickle on a Stick, check out Rose’s authentic Vietnamese egg rolls, or sample a gluten free treat from Dee at her booth Something Good.
