Local award winning author, Mary Ann Bator-Gray, now makes handmade plastic bag holders, too. Perfect for storing poop-bags.

Local Author Coming to Hometown HolidayLocal author, Mary Ann Bator-Gray, author of Jaden and the Weejum and The Lost Best Friend, delightful books for animal lovers, both young and young at heart, has expanded her offerings to include unique gift items for pet owners.

These handmade treasures include lovely, fabric, plastic bag holders (a needed item for pooper-scoopers) that feature a cute a cat or a dog, and plush but durable pet pillows.

She will be at the farmer’s market in downtown Fernandina Beach on Saturday with books and crafts. You can find her again on Sunday, December 15 at the corner of Lime and 14th Streets where the Hometown Holiday shopping event continues.

mary-ann-bator-gray-bags-cropAs usual, a portion of the proceeds from her sales will be donated to charities that benefit Nassau County animals and their owners.

Mary Ann lives on Amelia Island with her wonderful husband and three mischievous cats.

Among the many activities she enjoys when she isn’t writing, are brisk walks on the beach, dining out with friends, and volunteering at Cats Angels, Inc.
